Licensed Clinical Social Worker

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas with more than 10 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. My professional background includes eight years working within school districts and three years in the child welfare system, specializing in foster care and adoption services.
I earned both my Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work degrees from University of Houston. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children and families navigating trauma, loss, life transitions, and complex family dynamics.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and thoughtfully direct. I strive to create a safe, trusting environment where clients feel empowered to share their experiences openly and work toward meaningful change. Using trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions through a strengths-based lens, I help clients build on their resilience, develop practical skills, and recognize their capacity for healing, growth, and lasting well-being.
My expertise is in trauma, anxiety, grief, and the family challenges that come with major life disruptions. Much of my career has been spent inside schools and child welfare systems, which means I understand when trauma shows up as behavior, avoidance, or withdrawal. I am ready to work with you to understand those patterns and move through them.
Outside of the therapy room, I enjoy spending time as a wife and mother. I also enjoy baking, gardening, and cheering on the Houston Astros. These moments with family remind me of the importance of connection, balance, and finding joy in everyday life—values I strive to bring into my work with clients.
