My Mission

Asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

Life stressors and transitions can leave us feeling overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck—both within ourselves and in our relationships. During these challenging times, having a supportive space to process experiences, gain perspective, and develop new coping strategies can make a meaningful difference. I am committed to providing a compassionate, nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore challenges, build on their strengths, and move toward healing, growth, and greater connection.

I am passionate about helping children, adolescents, and families navigate difficult experiences, strengthen emotional well-being, and build the confidence needed to thrive. Whether addressing the effects of trauma, processing grief, managing emotional challenges, or improving family relationships, I am committed to walking alongside clients on their journey toward healing and growth.

I believe meaningful change occurs when individuals feel supported in developing resilience, strengthening healthy coping skills, and fostering deeper connections within their families and communities. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, overcome challenges, and create lasting positive change in their lives.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas with more than 11 years of experience supporting children, adolescents, and families. My professional background includes eight years working within school districts and three years in the child welfare system, specializing in foster care and adoption services.

I earned both my Master of Social Work and Bachelor of Social Work degrees from University of Houston. Throughout my career, I have developed a deep understanding of the challenges faced by children and families navigating trauma, loss, life transitions, and complex family dynamics.

My approach is direct, compassionate, and collaborative. I utilize trauma-informed, evidence-based interventions while maintaining a strengths-based perspective that recognizes each client's resilience and capacity for growth.

My areas of expertise include trauma, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, behavioral challenges, life transitions, attachment concerns, and family relationship issues. I have extensive experience working with children and adolescents who have experienced adverse childhood experiences, family disruption, neglect, abuse, and other significant stressors.

Outside of the office, I am a Wife and mother. I enjoy spending time with my family, baking, gardening, and going to Astros games!
